人物視覺幻境系列

     台灣是筆者居住的島嶼,經濟與科技的發展加速了整個島嶼開發的程度,國際之間的文化互相交流,在這個數位科技的時代人們也藉由網路科技聯繫,因此過於依賴而形成了疏離感。人與人之間的距離變的遙遠,變的冷漠,生活中有很多大小事是值得我們關心,筆者也因如此對於人與人間的往來再生活當中開始觀察體會。
   《人物視覺空間》之創作系列裡,以人物為描繪對像進行一系列的創作研究,藝術創作有很多目的,有的用來抒發情感,關懷社會而進行創作,再這個自由年代裡,創作的動機目的與題材已是多元不拘束了,筆者藉由關注生活當中的周遭朋友、孩童之情緒的思考表達成為創作題材。此創作動機主要是筆者以古典繪畫的技巧以及多方面複合媒材的嘗試搭配,來追求獨特的表現形式,傳達人物、視覺、空間、光線、色彩與對人物造型觀察的追求,五個主軸上不停的摸索與探究。
    繪畫創作上的色彩表達,造成觀者的心理效應,這個問題是值得深究的,以最真實寫實的描繪手法融合了主觀的裝飾性色調及視覺的氛圍當中做為創作的基礎,表達畫面中的視覺凝聚力具有夢境虛幻的氛圍。也試圖將畫面中的人物色調與背景空間達到協調統一,在配色上做了深入的研究及考量,非常理性地表現自我,希望畫面主題與環境能和諧,以簡約的色彩及空間上的明暗氛圍傳達筆者創作時的心境。本論文進而闡述筆者自身之創作內容之目的及作品解析,對自我進行釐清與詮釋,希望藉由此論文與創作上的敘述,達到某種程度上的期許與期望,不斷更精進自身創作與態度,期望未來創作發展上有好的表現與突破。

Abstract

       The artist lives in Taiwan, an island well-known for its fast economical and technological development. In this digital era a lot happens in the virtual world:  relationships between countries and cultures happen faster and easier, and everyone communicates and relies on online communications; as such the artist's generation is permeated by a strong sense of alienation. Relationships between people have become distant and cold, but still life has a lot of things that are worth caring about, so the artist, aware of this, started to observe and analyze how this kind of situations take place in his own life.
    The creation of the series “Figure in Visual Space - Creation and research”focus mainly on the research and depiction of the human figure but with several other important features in mind like expressing emotions, the role of this free and disengaged generation in nowadays society, the artist's friends, and childrens' moods; all these became an inspiration for the creation of this painting series.
    The artist created this series of works by painting in an apparently classical traditional technique, but by using mixed media he was able to achieve a unique form of expression.  To observe and convey the human figure, vision, space, light, color and shape, these were the most important points that the artist tried to research.
    Another important issue worth studying was the expression of color in the paintings and how it psychologically affects the viewer; as such, the realistic and objective paint techniques are combined with a subjective and decorative base tone, and the whole image is supposed to have an unreal and dreamy atmosphere.
    In this thorough study and consideration of the color, the artist attempted to harmonize the color of the figures and the background  and make them fit each other, and hoped that the minimal colors of the background space as well as the light and dark effects can convey the artist's own state of mind at the time of creation.
    The thesis further explains the artist's own purposes and analysis, hoping that this self reflection and self interpretation will allow the work to constantly develop and improve.
